Meet Pamela Hoopes

Pamela Hoopes, L.C.S.W., works with adults ranging from 18 to their 70s, welcoming college and graduate students transitioning to new chapters in their lives, as well as adults navigating the many changes and challenges that life presents. She helps clients explore their emotions, life events, and goals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Pamela holds a Master's in Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree from Lake Forest College. With over 25 years of experience in private practice, she specializes in treating depression, anxiety (including OCD), grief and loss, adjustment and transitional concerns, and women's issues. Pamela employs a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices.
Pamela enjoys sharing and educating clients on integrating mindfulness and intuition into everyday life, understanding how food and nutrition can affect mood, and developing empath survival skills. She believes that small steps lead to lasting change.
In addition to her extensive experience, Pamela is Hay House certified to read Oracle cards and is currently a student of mediumship. She also incorporates the use of Oracle Cards into her practice, offering a unique and personalized approach to her clients.
In her free time, Pamela enjoys yoga, hiking, and is a loving dog mom.
